Covid-19 - KEEPING YOU SAFE

The wellbeing of our guests during their time at the spa, is as always our main priority.

Current restrictions

  • We can only take bookings for a maximum of 6 people under the Covid-19 6 person rule. 

Providing a safe environment

  • We have undertaken a comprehensive Covid-19 risk assessment. 

  • We have completed a training course on Infection, Prevention and control (including Covid-19).

  • We have installed a new fresh air ventilation system throughout the spa.

  • All clients will be asked the following questions on arrival:

    • Have you had a recent onset of a new continuous cough?​

    • Do you have a high temperature?

    • Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?

    • Have you been diagnosed with or cared for someone with Covid-19 in the past two weeks?

    • If you answer yes to any of the above questions - however mild your symptoms are - then you will need to reschedule your spa booking.

Enhanced cleaning and sanitising

  • There will be a hand sanitising station upon arrival.

  • Hand sanitising stations around the spa.

  • Items which can't be cleaned have had to be removed, such as magazines, books, games, cards etc.

  • All surfaces including fabric, are sanitised between spa sessions, using deep cleaning products and Safeclean anti-bacterial sanitiser spray.

  • Our laundry meets industry requirements for thermal disinfection.

PPE

  • Emma or Tim will greet you to the spa wearing a mask.  We also ask guests to wear their own masks while being greeted and shown around the spa.  

  • During your spa time, there will only be yourself and your guests in the spa, so you can make your own choices about wearing masks etc.

  • Our therapists will be wearing the correct PPE during treatments.

Cancellations

  • If for any reason relating to Covid your spa session needs to be cancelled, for example, being told to isolate, testing positive or government guidelines requiring us to close.  We will reschedule your booking for you with no loss of deposit.  If rescheduling is really not an option, we will refund your deposit in full.

Treatments

  • Therapists will be wearing the correct PPE.

  • Therapists will wash their hands thoroughly inbetween treatments.

  • Guests hands will be cleaned upon entering the treatment room.

  • Treatment rooms will be thoroughly sanitised between treatments.

Thermal area

  • The snow room is currently not available. 

  • All other facilities are now open including the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, rainfall shower and pool.

We ask you to stay safe during your stay

  • Wash your hands thoroughly throughout your spa session.

  • For coughs, and sneezes please use Catch it. Bin it. Kill it.  There are tissues and bins available throughout the spa.

  • If you are attending the spa with people outside of your household, please maintain social distancing.
